Day
Your Kerala holidays will begin with your arrival in Cochin. From airport/ railway station, you will be driven to your hotel. Cochin is famous for its fascinating forts, ayurvedic centers and handicrafts and is also known as the 'Gateway to Kerala'.Check-in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, if time permits, you may explore the local markets on your own.Enjoy your dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Relish your breakfast at the hotel.With your Kerala tour package, you will go out on a Half-day Sightseeing Tour of Cochin. Visit the famous Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace- 1568 built Jewish Synagogue, the  oldest church built by Europeans in India- St Francis Church and you will also see the Chinese fishing nets (Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue will remain closed on Fridays).In the afternoon, head for Munnar, a lovely hill station and home to the highest peak in South India. On the way, you will stop at a restaurant for lunch.Upon your arrival in Munnar, check-in to the hotel and unwind yourself. If you wish, you can visit the local markets in the evening (on your own) and buy aromatic tea from the shops there.Savour an appetising  dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will head out for a Local Sightseeing Tour of Munnar. You will visit the Tata Tea Museum and Eravikulam National Park to experience the variety of flora and fauna. Guests will be shown tea plantations on Mondays since Tata Tea Museum remains closed. The Park will remain closed in February and March due to calving season.Enjoy local food at a restaurant (on your own). In the afternoon, you will visit the beautiful the Mattupetty Lake and Dam and Echo Point which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon’. Mattupetty is well known for its highly specialized dairy farm, where over 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared.In the evening, you will return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening exploring your surroundings. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Post a heavenly breakfast at the hotel; you will be driven to Thekaddy. One of the main attractions in Thekkady is the fabulous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is also a tiger reserve and home to many endangered species.Upon your arrival in Thekkady, check- into the hotel and have lunch (on your own).In the afternoon, you will head for a boat cruise on the calm Periyar Lake in Thekkady.In the evening, make a move towards the theatre (non-air-conditioned) to experience the traditional Kalari Show. Kalaripayattu is an ancient martial art of Kerala and one of the oldest fighting  systems in the world.In the evening,  you can indulge in some shopping or opt for an Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis).Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening exploring your surroundings.Relish a scrumptious dinner and have a snug overnight stay at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel in Thekkady and head out for a Spice Plantation Tour, which will last for an hour. Later, you can go out on spice shopping in the afternoon (on direct payment basis).  There is a wide range of spices cultivated in Thekaddy including pepper, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, curry leaves and so on.On reaching Alleppey, you will check-in to the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing there. Your Kerala holidays will be incomplete without a stay at the fully equipped houseboat in the serene backwaters of Alleppey.You will have your lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

This is the last day of your amazing Kerala holidays. After breakfast, check-out from the houseboat and you will be driven to Cochin.On reaching Cochin, make a move towards the airport (on your own) to board your flight back home.
