Welcome to Cochin with your Kerala tour package!.In the afternoon, you will head for Munnar, a beautiful hill station situated on the confluence of three mountain streams. On the way, there will be a stop at a restaurant for lunch (on direct payment basis).Once you reach Munnar, you will check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day will be free for recreational activities. In the evening, you can go out to explore the local markets (on your own) and buy aromatic tea from the shops there.Savor a delicious dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel.
After a heavenly breakfast at the hotel, you will go out on a Sightseeing Tour of Munnar. Tour the Tata Tea Museum, which has antiques that portray the growth and evolution of tea plantation in Munnar and the Eravikulam National Park, which is habitat for the highly endangered species of mountain goats called Nilgiri Tahr. Guests will be shown tea plantations on Mondays since Tata Tea Museum remains closed. The Park will remain closed in February and March due to calving season.Enjoy local food at a restaurant (on our own). Later, in the afternoon, you will visit the Mattupetty Lake and Dam and Echo Point which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon’.In the evening, return to the hotel and the rest of the evening will be free for leisure activities.Have a pleasant overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.
Post an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and you will be driven to Thekkady. It is widely famous for its enthralling Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where a variety of flora and fauna can be found and is also a tiger reserve.Upon your arrival in Thekaddy, check-in at the hotel and have lunch (on your own).In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the placid Periyar Lake in Thekkady.In the evening, you will be taken to the theatre (non-air-conditioned) to experience the traditional Kalari Show. Experience amazing moments filled with exhilaration as you witness the fighters perform this traditional martial art, Kalaripayattu.After that, you can explore the local shops there or you can also opt for an Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening.You will return to the hotel in the evening and spend the rest of the evening relaxing.Have a pleasant overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.
With your Kerala holiday package, travel to Alleppey. After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel in Thekkady and go on a Spice Plantation Tour which will last for an hour. Later, you may indulge in some spice shopping (on direct payment basis). A wide variety of spices are cultivated in Thekkady such as pepper, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves.Once you reach Alleppey, you will check-into the houseboat and spend the rest of the day there itself.You will have your lunch, dinner and an overnight stay at the houseboat.
This will be the last day of your incredible Kerala holidays.Post an enticing breakfast, you will check-out from the houseboat in Alleppey. You will be driven to Cochin for your drop to airport/ railway station.
