Welcome to your Kerala holiday package! Your vacation will begin with your arrival in Cochin.Later in the afternoon, you will proceed for Munnar, a beautiful hill station. On the way, you will stop at a good restaurant and enjoy a sumptuous lunch (on direct payment basis). The hill station is abode to expansive tea plantations, pristine valleys, mountains and diverse range of flora and fauna.On your arrival in Munnar, check-in to the hotel and relax. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own) and buy aromatic tea from the shops there.Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will go out on a Sightseeing Tour of Munnar. You will visit the famous Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the tranquility of Munnar (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to see a variety of flora and fauna.Guests will be shown tea plantations on Mondays since Tata Tea Museum remains closed. The Park will remain closed in February and March due to calving season.Enjoy local food at a good restaurant (personal expense). In the afternoon, you will visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as the Echo Point which is famous for its 'Echo Phenomenon'.In the evening, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening relaxing.Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. One of the top attractions in Thekkady is the fabulous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is habitat to many endangered species such as lion-tailed Macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Indian bison and so on.Upon arrival check-into the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).On this day of your Kerala tour package, in the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake in Thekkady.In the evening, you will head out for the theatre (non-air-conditioned) to experience the traditional Kalari Show. Kalaripayattu is the traditional martial art form of Kerala.You may go for shopping or opt for an Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening.You will return in the evening and spend rest of your time exploring your surroundings.Have a restful overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, you will check-out of the hotel in Thekkady to go for a Spice Plantation Tour which will last for an hour. Later, you may indulge in some spice shopping (on direct payment basis). There are a wide variety of spices cultivated in Thekaddy and the most abundantly found is pepper.Once you reach Alleppey, you will check-in to the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day in there itself. The Kerala tour will be incomplete without cruising along the serene backwaters of Alleppey in a fully equipped houseboat. Lunch and dinner will be served to you at the houseboat.Have a comfortable overnight stay at the houseboat.
All good things come to an end! This will be the last day of your amazing Kerala holidays. Post breakfast, you will check-out of the houseboat in Alleppey.You will be driven to Cochin for your drop to the airport to board your flight back home.
