Day
After arrival in Ahmedabad, a Yatra representative will assist your transfer to the hotel.
Ahmedabad is the largest city of the state of Gujarat and was once its capital. It was named after Sultan Ahmed, who was ruler of this region in the early 14th century. This metropolitan city showcases the unique combination of the ancient and modern India. It is home to many prominent attractions of the state that tourists can visit their tour.
After completing check-in formalities at the hotel, relax and then get set to explore Ahmedabad.
In the city, you can visit the majestic Hutheesing Temple, which was constructed in the mid-18th century. It was built during the famine in the state, and the construction work employed hundreds of artisans. Dedicated to Lord Dharmanath – the 15th Tirthankara, this temple is an exemplary work of marble and coloured stone. You can also visit the Sabarmati Ashram, where the father of the nation – Mahatma Gandhi stayed for over a decade. It also acted as the base for launching Salt Satyagraha on March 12, 1930.
Later in evening, come back to the hotel and enjoy overnight stay.
Early in the morning, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Bhavnagar.
It used to serve as the capital of Bhavnagar State – a princely state prior to 1948. Now, it is the administrative headquarters of the district of the same name and houses a number of industries. It has emerged as one of the commercial cities of the state because of its strategic location near the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Cambay.
After arrival in Bhavnagar, check-in the hotel and take rest. Afterwards, get ready to explore Palitana.
This city acts as a base for people who come to visit the Palitana Jain Temples, located on the Shatrunjaya Hill. There more than 800 small and large temples, making it one of the largest temple cluster of India. The first Tirthankara – Adinath – visited this place more than 90 times, and it is said that he attained enlightenment at this hilltop.
After the sightseeing tour, come back to the hotel.
In the morning, check-out from the hotel and head towards Diu.
It is a district in Daman and Diu – the second smallest union territory of the country. This islet lies in the Gulf of Cambay, in proximity to Veraval Port. This place, flanked by the Arabian Sea, and Kalem and Bhagwan Rivers, is connected to both Gujarat and Maharashtra by road. It used to be a significant trading post between 14th and 16th centuries and rulers controlled the shipping routes in that period. Now, it has emerged as one of the popular tourist attractions of the country, comprising serene beaches and revered temples.
After reaching the destination, spend the day in leisure and stay in the hotel at night.
In the morning, get ready to explore the scenic beauty of Diu.
You can start with Nagoa Beach, which is located in the Bucharwada village is known for its serene and peaceful ambience. You can swim or play water sports in the turquoise waters of the Arabian Sea. The face of Jalandhar – a mythological demon – carved in a stone can be seen at Jallandhar Beach, located at a short distance from the town. It is believed that the Lord Krishna killed this demon at this spot. You can also visit the Gangeshwar Temple, located in the cave temple. It is said that Shivalingas at this cave have mystic powers and god makes his presence felt.
Later in the evening, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
In the morning, pack your bags to check-out from the hotel and then transfer to Sasangir.
Sasangir, popularly known as the The Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, is home to the largest population of leopards. This sanctuary was established in the year 1965 and is popular for Asiatic lions. In addition to around 300 lions, it is home to crocodiles, hyenas, wild boars, nilgai and many other mammals. You can enjoy the lion show organised in the Devaliya area, organised by the authorities of the park.
Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Early in the morning, complete check-out formalities and transfer to Ahmedabad.
After reaching Ahmedabad, check-in the hotel and spend the day in leisure or explore the city on your own. Enjoy comfortable stay at the hotel.
