ENTHRALLING KASHMIR

After a hearty breakfast, check-out from the hotel for a Gondola Ride (cable car) upto 1st level of the Afarwatt Mountain.Get down at Gulmarg and have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, head towards Pahalgam through the National Highway 1A. Drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the splendid ruins of Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara. Switch to the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city in Kashmir-Anantnag. From there, the journey will become more scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction.On reaching Pahalgam, check-in to the hotel and later take a nature walk to unwind yourself (on your own).Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After a tempting breakfast at the hotel, head out for a Sightseeing Tour of Aru, Chandanwari and Betaab Valley (by taxi union cars only). Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. Aru is known for its grasslands and Betaab Valley got its name from the super hit movie-‘Betaab’ back in 1983 featuring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh.Have lunch at a local restaurant in Pahalgam(on direct payment basis). Rejuvenate yourself with an overnight stay at the hotel.

On this day of your Kashmir holiday, after breakfast, make your way to Sonamarg. En route, take delight in the stunning views of the countryside. From the town of Kangan, drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm. After that, there will be a stop at the famous tourist spot of Gagangir. In Sonamarg, take a 3 hour walk or a horseback trip to the Thajwass Glacier (on direct payment basis).Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and head to the hotel. Have a peaceful overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.
