  • Region: Southern India
  • Destination: Karnataka
Day
On arrival at Bangalore airport /railway station, meet our representative and take a transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Bangalore, now officially known as Bengaluru, has something for everyone. Except, perhaps, the beach-lover. Revel in Garden City’s numerous parks and lung spaces (the city boasts streets named Primrose Road, Margosa Road, Rose Garden etc for a reason!). Be a part of its contagious pub culture. And if fascinated by history, lose yourself in its palaces, forts, temples, old buildings and streets. Though Bangaloreans themselves bemoan the loss of green cover and tranquility and complain about the traffic snarls, saying IT City has killed Pensioner’s Paradise, the city is still a pleasant surprise for visitors from other metros. The weather’s lovely for most of the year and the city still jealously guards its green spaces.

Proceed on a half day sightseeing tour of Bangalore city. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Bangalore.

You will be driven to Coorg. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Evening is at leisure to relax and pursue independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy a half-day tour, with visits to coffee plantations, orange orchards and paddy field in Mercara, the largest town in Coorg. Overlooking the town is a sprawling fortress built by the Rajas of Coorg on a hill. Nearby stands a temple of Lord Omkareswara (one of the twelve Joytirling), which shows an unusual combination of the Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.

Check out from the hotel & proceed to Mysore. Arrive into Mysore and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit to Brindavan Gardens. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Check out from the hotel & proceed to visit one of the best-preserved Hoysala Temples at Somnathpur. Later visit the famous Mysore Palace. Later you will be driven to Bangalore airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
